We live in London, UK and first visited Normandy when our little girl had just turned one. We knew travelling by ferry and car would be so much easier with a small family, than flying. We completely fell in love with the region on that first holiday and in the following years, we stayed at many different little coastal villages. We then added a little boy to our family and happily discovered Varengeville-Sur-Mer:
A magical village, abundantly green, yet so close to the sea. At just two hours drive from Calais we could leave London at 8am and arrive in France for a fantastic meal by 2pm. We loved the area so much, the quiet beaches, the delicious food, the beautiful countryside, that we decided to build the house you now see in the photographs.
